The Titan and Titan X Side by Sides Land at Richmond Honda House This August

Richmond Honda House is adding a new UTV line to the floor this August: BLP Motors’ Titan and Titan X. Both are 500cc liquid-cooled side-by-sides built for job sites, trails, and everything in between, and both are available now at our Richmond showroom. If you’ve been pricing out a UTV and wincing at how fast the accessories add up, the Titan line is worth a look before you buy.

Meet the BLP Motors Titan Base Model

The Titan is BLP’s entry point into the SxS lineup, and it doesn’t feel like a stripped-down starter machine. It’s built around a 500cc liquid-cooled engine with a CVT transmission, so there’s no clutch or gear-shifting to think about; just point it and go. A 2-person bench seat leaves room for a passenger or a coworker, and dual A-arm suspension paired with hydraulic disc brakes keeps it planted on rough terrain, whether that’s a job site or a weekend trail. MSRP is $7,999.

Meet the Titan X

The Titan X is the step-up model, and the upgrades are real ones: alloy rims, the same dual A-arm suspension and hydraulic disc brakes as the Titan, and a build that BLP positions as tougher and smoother-riding than the base model. Where the Titan X really stands apart, though, is what comes on it from the factory. MSRP is $9,699.

What Comes Standard on the Titan X

This is the part that matters most if you’re cross-shopping. The Titan X comes pre-equipped with:

Doors

None of that is an upsell or a dealer-installed package; it’s standard equipment on the machine as it sits on our lot. That’s a meaningful head start compared to UTVs that ship bare and expect you to source and install those parts yourself.

The Titan X vs. the Kawasaki Mule PRO-FXT 820 EPS

A lot of UTVs in this class ship without a windshield, roof, winch, LED light bar, or bumpers — those are common aftermarket additions across the segment, not just on one brand. For example, a Kawasaki Mule PRO-FXT 820 EPS starts at $16,999 (plus a $1,120 destination charge), and like most bare-spec utility UTVs, it doesn’t come standard with that same gear. Pricing out comparable aftermarket parts — windshield, roof, winch, bumper, and LED bar — typically runs somewhere in the neighborhood of $1,500–$2,500 or more, before you’ve paid for the labor to actually install them.

The Titan X starts more than $8,000 below that Mule’s base price and already has that gear installed. For riders who want a trail- and job-ready machine without pricing out a separate accessories order, that’s a real difference — not just in dollars, but in the time and hassle of sourcing and installing parts after the sale.

Titan or Titan X: Which One’s Right for You

If you’re comparing the two BLP models against each other rather than against a Pioneer 1000, it comes down to how much you want done for you. The Titan gives you the same core platform — engine, CVT, suspension, brakes — at a lower price, and it’s a great choice if you’d rather add accessories yourself or don’t need them right away. The Titan X costs about $1,700 more but arrives with the windshield, roof, winch, LED bar, and bumpers, and doors already on it, which is usually worth more than the price difference once you account for buying those parts separately.
